August 15, 2018, marked the 2nd year anniversary of Cafe Mi Corazon, a quaint cafe located at Doña Segunda – Building 1 Stall 16, Ponciano Street, Davao City. Tucked away in the middle of shops and boutiques, Cafe Mi Corazon is a haven of inexpensive, good food.

I decided to visit the cafe because the owner was my classmate in high school and I wanted to see how she’d succeeded as a millennial entrepreneur.

Claudine Yu has always been a persistent person. No matter what trials she faced, she still had a smile on her face. It’s no surprise that her business is up and running for two years, and I do not doubt that she will succeed in the long run.

The cafe offers a wide range of dishes under P200. What makes it better is that the meals come with a glass of juice, so you’ll get your money’s worth when you dine here. Claudine suggested that my partner and I order their bestsellers: chicken Parmesan and garlic chicken with mushroom.

The chicken Parmesan came with ham and cheese rolls if you order from the promo menu. I also got my favorite, french fries with sour cream, and my partner ordered a serving of carbonara.

I also ordered their trademark cookie shot with ice cream. You pour the milk into the cookie cup which is glazed with chocolate inside, and the ice cream makes the whole thing a genuinely delightful experience. You have to try it when you visit the cafe.

Overall, it was a fun and satisfying food experience. We came out of the cafe stuffed to the brim with delicious food, and I even got a cute souvenir from the shop.

I recommend this cafe for those who are searching for good food at a low price. You won’t regret your Cafe Mi Corazon experience.
